    Hi, i have a 53reg vtr with 70,000. When standing sometimes it revs on its own. It never revs hi not evan past 1000. Stiil doing it when warm. can anyone help??

    are the revs fluctuating? try cleaning your idle control valve first there is a guide on here if you search

    mine does this when its hot, ill be sat at traffic lights an it will rev up to bout 1500 revs then drop down again, i tried cleanin the ICV but it still does it
