changing rear discs and pads problem??!

I know you have to turn the piston clockwise to retract it so the new pads and caliper will fit etc....is this that piston? because mine doesnt move an inch!!

either its just the way the picture has been taken, or where is the other half of the caliper ? lol.

wiggle wiggle back and forth, clock wise, anti clock wise. try and loosen things up.
have you opened the bleed nipple on teh caliper ? and tried it, as it relieves the pressure and makes it about 500x easier lol.

No crack the bleed nipple off and wind the piston back in .

crack off the bleed nipple about 1/8th of a turn. and then try putting the piston back.

when the piston is going back, fluid will come out of the nipple, but it will ease the pressure so the piston will go back easier... unless its seized atall.
try spaying about of GT or WD around the rubber boot.

Fuckineeeeeeeeeeel ive cracked the nipple off, turned the piston and it wont go back! it turns it just doesnt go back, im guessing to much pressure behind it???

Plenty WD40 on the piston, brake fluid reservoir cap off, and a piston winding tool should have them back in. You need to wind them quite a bit to get them back in.

Sounds like you need a new caliper now though. There should be dust seals around the piston too, which could be why they're a bit tight.
