saxo vts idling

   hello people my saxo vts has started cutting out in the mornings,and the revs are sticking at 3k.i have tried cleaning the idle valve and it helped a bit also shown no fault codes any ideas guys? thanks

   your engine management light on?
   and by sticking at 3k, you mean wont rev past 3k?
   because im having the same problem with mine

   and yeah despite of the engine management light being on it didnt show any fault codes either so im taking it to a citreon specialist garage tomorrow

   its when i dip the clutch above 3k it stays there for a minute and the revs go up when i change gear

   unplug the idle control valve first if it dies then thats your problem and buy a new one
