as in the picture, a bolt snapped in my torsion bar, anyone got any ingenious ways of getting it out? I dont have mole grips or extractors.....

i suppose pliers could work if the bolt is loose enough

is it still quite tight then? have you tried turning it back as its come out abit then snapped from the looks of it, only other way you could do it is drill it out and retap it

or get a socket thats abit smaller then it and make it fit with a hammer then undo it that way

ye well smash a small socket over it and make it fit and it should come out then, i've always done it and its fine just make sure you get a new bolt and dont try to use the old one haha

something like these would get it out no problem, ive got a set myself bought them when a couple of my manifold studs snapped they grip onto the broken piece as u turn, not sure if you could just get one from somewhere as you wouldnt really need a whole set

Yeah those things are good. Failing that use a screw/stud extractor but you'll have to drill the bolt first with a pilot hole. Got my screw extractor set for £6
