LCD Gear Knob

   Alright another crazy idea
   would it be possible to have a gear knob which has a little lcd screen on telling what gear you are in??
   
   if you're not interested or you're just gonna tell me how stupid it is, you know what you can do xD

   if you dont know what gear your in with a normal manual box you shouldnt be on the road, fair enough having an indicator with a squential box but its pointless on a normal saxo.

    Ingenious. I ant believe nobody's ever thought of putting numbers on a gear stick.. Oh no wait... Yes they have. Tacky and over complicated. But if you wanna know how to do t you need 6 micro switches and a suitable screen/ knob to programme the 6 micro switches to. Good on bikes and rally cars.

    i want to get a new gear knob as mines is all worn,any way to remove without attacking with a hacksaw????? any help would be awsome

    good idea but like someone said if u dont know what gear you're in you shouldnt have a drivin lisence
