how low

   Hi guys I'm getim me vtr lowerd soon but just don't know how low to go I don't know if 40 mm is to high and go 60 but then I'm gunna have to go lower on the back I fink and don't want to go to low. Could u please send pics and let me know how low ur cars are. Thanks

   Is that front and back 60 btw did u buy 60 mm springs because I was told that 60 mm springs only lower the vtr by 50

   Does 60mm lowering not scrape at all? I would say 30-40mm is a good amount to lower.

   60mm is what you need mate. i rarely scraped anything when i was down 60mm front 70mm rear, even with a full car. Any higher than 60mm i personally think they look shit

   If you lower it more then 45mm, don't you have to upgrade the shocks and dampers?

   Mine doesn't scrape, its on standard shocks and dampers and handles brilliant cant fault it

    you dont 'have' to. its just recomended so the ride isnt too bouncy/harsh and becuase the lifespan of the standard dampers may be shit

    Ye my mate has like 60 70 on standerd shocks and that's ok

    I'm with you on this one. A 40 mm drop isn't really a drop, 60 mm is perfect. Here's mine 40 front 70 rear. Looks a bit off but the front will be going down another 20mm.

    sorry to sort of hijack the thread,
    just wondering alot of you have 60mm front and back does it scrape at all or knock/rub?
    cus im going to lower mine just dont know how much ha

    I've had no problems with scraping but when going 60 on the front the track control arm rubs the power steering pipe causing it to leak, just needs bending out the way a bit
