Stupid toad alarm!

   Locked my car last night with my alarm everything went fine locked it all up went to get in the car just now and it wont unlock my car has been de pinned and de locked so i cant get in through the doors, Only way in is through the boot.
   
   So i went in though the boot alarm went off so poped bonnet and disconnected the battery but everytime i reconnect the battery the alarm goes crazy and my remote wont turn the alarm off, The green light flashes on the remote so i know the battery is working in the remote but its not transmitting to the car, is there anything i can do?

   Well im lucky it was actually the battery in the fob even tho it was lighting up, i can stop panicing now

   if in doubt, always put a new battery in the remote. Glad it was an easy fix fella!

   Well i thought i solved the problem by just changing the battery i was wrong , Normally i can unlock/lock the car from a few meters away and been anywhere around now the car.
   
   Went to lock the car last night so i went around the car trying to find a way of locking it by just pressing it in a position but i found an area where it will unlock if i point it towards the dashboard from the windscreen it will unlock seems to work everytime, anyone know if it could be a sensor or something?
   
   I have Pmed MR_TOAD aswell but just want to know other peoples opinions

   I had a toad alarm on mine, got so pissed off with it playing up i ripped it out! Best thing i ever did

   Theres isnt a way i can lock the doors tho as its been delocked ha

    is there not any way in which you can re fit locks to the doors? i would consider it even if you get the alarm fixed just in case it messes up again

    Sounds daft but someone has actually nicked my doors from outside my house which had my locks in so that a fail!, unless i buy a full set

    WTF! Probably pikeys looking for some scrap metal , thing is how much would it cost to get a new set of doors and hope the colours match up? A brand new toad alarm on ebay is like £105, might be worth just fitting a whole new one and bomb the old one off

    MR_TOAD does the exact same alarm fitted for £140 which is good i guess!

    Yeah that sounds good! When i took mine out and looked through the wiring diagram i was like shiit! I just followed them back to the wires they were spliced into and just cut them out..

    Think i found the problem!, Most people on my street are having problems with there remote central locking and they believe its to do with the digital switch over! sounds strange but it did it last week when it was switching over aswell!

    Sounds weird! Least its not costing you loads to fix it tho if thats the problem

    Dont think i will be getting a toad alarm any time soon then i dont miss my old one, just miss having a key fob!
