£200 a seat!

ok, so ive just fitted a 106 gti half leather interior into my VTR, at £150 for the whole interior i thought that was pretty good seeing how there are no rips in the leather.

however, the suede on the front seats is worn and could do with replacing, when i rung up a re-trimming company they said it would be £200 a seat!

is this the general price or is this way over the top?

    thanks.

sounds right to me gotta take in the fact of labour and materials. Re-trimming is not easy and its deffo not cheap.

when the suede is around 65 pound to 85 a meter plus time its not bad going

retrimming is expensive. would probably be cheaper to buy new seats unless you no someone who can do it on the cheap

    Try JML Bobble off first.

Trust me, if it's still bad enough to need a retrim after I'll accept it but this stuff works wonders!

dont get too happy with jml bobble off. it works but if used too much it makes the suade to thin! so it would be more likely to rip

I would just get some new seats mate, retrimming is expensive and probably not worth the value of the seats
