Putting cold air feed on my mk2 morettes, you know the inner glass is fitted to a plastic housing?! then screws in to the plastic on the morettes... how do i get the glass out/ away from the plastic casing? Cheers.

#2The morrettes are made up of two skins, separate them and then unscrew the lamp unit.

#3as above, are yours h4 or h7? as your sidelights and high beams/mains are in ll4 lamps on the h7's

#4Yeh i know there made of 2 skins but when youve unscrewed the 4 screw what holds the iner lamp on theres like a plastic casing still attached to the glass i want the galss out so i can put a trumpet/ air feed in there.

#7you remove the whole lamp, not just the glass
it unscrews with 4 bolts
then fit the trumpet to the mask -

#9No the whole lamp unit comes out, i have my cold air feed trumpet stuck between the two skins

#10Orite ok cool cheers guys, another thing the outer lamps are like kinda loose from the top are they supposed to be or not? cus youve got the little white screw on the back to go up or down then the top theres no bolt or screw to adjust them so there loose??

#11Mine where like this, i got a bolt (100mm APPROX) two nuts and washer, puttingbthe either side of the inner skin with the end touching the lamp holder. And just tightened it till it was secure.

#13Guys I been looking at doing this cold air feed. I do need the glass of the plastic housing! How can I get it off!? Do people put headlights in the oven or something to break the seal?
