Important! : idling problem

   right need some help and fast. my mates got an idling issue on a vts, what happens is you start the car it cuts out straight away. you can sit there and rev it and its fine its just when you back off that it cuts out.
   
   no engine management light on..
   
   what i think maybe causing it, either faulty map sensor or icv
   
   anyone else had this problem and figured out what the cause is?

   mine did this it was the icv, exactly the same you could start it and hold ur foot on the accelerator and it would run fine but as soon as you let go cut off, changed the icv been fine since. if your gonna change the icv i'd recommend an original one as ive tried cheaper ones and had problems with them
