i had a new clutch fitted today and when i got the car back, iv noticed that the oil pressure gauge isnt working. it only works to show how much oil you got in but after that nothing.
any idea's why its not working?

    cheers

Sounds like they've knocked it from taking the driveshaft off

how do i sort this then? where do i look

would it be ok to drive 125 mile like it?

Oil pressure? Saxo don't have as standard an oil pressure gauge.

Do you mean the oil temp/level gauge?

If so the temp side is taken from the sensor on the back of the sump near the drain plug.

The level sensor on the front of the block near the filter.

Check the plugs are plug in, and then the wiring to them.

Hmm sadly can't this weekend, next Saturday really,

Just get under it or take it back to the garage say it hasn't worked since they worked on it.

One plug on the back of the sump

YeP check the plug on the back of the sump, it the only one there.

If it the temp side of the gauge not working then guess they done something, when they did the shaft.
