can you use a mk1 vtr oil filter on a mk2 vtr?

   i am about to do an oil change on my vtr the car currently has the plastic oil filter but can i use the metal oil filter on it?

   You can but only if you swap the manifold to an early or 4 branch one
   
   Itll hit the cat otherwise

   ok cheers. the metal filter looks a lot smaller than the plastic one tho

   its a lot bigger in diameter and sits in a different place
