right guys ive tried to fit new pads/discs but when winding in the brake piston to allow for more room for the new pads, the piston just winds but doesn't actually go in any further. I have opened the bleed nipples (one fucker snapped off!) and released the handbrake (not sure how this would make a difference) and they still dont wind in enough, i gotta get this sorted as ive got my test a week today....any suggestions?

#2Simple idea, but easy mistake to make.. You made sure the lug on the pad lines up with the gap on the piston?

#3yea lol

#4Tryed undo'ing brake fluid cap to release abit of pressure?

#5nah dude ill try that too, cant see it making a difference tho

#6Cap off brake fluid reservoir, plenty WD40 on the piston, and keep winding clockwise. You need to wind them for quite a while.
If you have access to a winding tool, should make life easier.
