Yellow Tint

    My driver front light indicator has went a yellowy tinge/tint instead of being clear is there a way to sort it or can you buy just that littl cover or is it a full new head light?

    yellow tint spray is the easiest. You can get a film that goes over the glass but its pretty hard to fit.

    i think he means its tinted itself yellow...
    has the bulb shorted or anything since youve had it? id say its either the insode of the glasss is dirty, or somethings happened to the reflecting bit, id wait till some of the more experienced guys answer though

    Aye it has tinted itself. Eh it was like that when I got it and nope bulbs have been spot on, I might need cleaned ill check that when I crack em open to spray the inserts black, but cheers for the advice the now mate appreciated!

    Is it the blastic lense cover for the indicator bulb? I've seen that on a few, it might be that its discoloured over time or someone said the older mk2s come like that, the lense does pop out so if you could smash a light in the scrappy you could get it out or buy some from someone on here, they just clip in and out mate but the glass needs to be removed.

    Cheers mate aye mate its is the bulb lense cover all check it might need clean, but ill be splitting the lights to spray the insert ill try get another one cheers mate! Great help

    No probs mate, most likely you'll need a new one I think, the clear ones deffo look best with smoked headlights

    mine done this on my old saxo, so went scrappy, found a saxo with a smashed up front end the light was all smashed up but that was the only thing left in one peice
