vts sounds rough

   just gone to start my car as it sound as rough as a bears ass i disconected my ecu without disconnecting the battery yesterday could this be the cause. I have disconnected the battery then the ecu today for about an hour but still the same any help would be appreciated benwh555 heard it as i rang him to see if he knew what it was he says it sounds like it running on 3

   is your engine management flasing mate?
   try plug fault code reader in..
   or you could have shorted out ECU, doubt it though.

   no mate its not flashing i cant move the car to get it plugged in guy over the road trying to get me one

   seems to want to start but it wont
   checked the coil pack and its working ok
   checked fuses all ok
   can hear the fuel pump priming
   can hear the ecu ticking

   Ecu ticking doesn`t sound right,or at least i`ve never heard 1 tick.If you have a mate with the same model saxo etc try swapping the ecu & try that.That`ll eliminate an ecu fault.

   when i say ticking you can hear it working under the dash by the relay
