Stupid Doors!!!!

   both my vtr doors don't stay open when you open them. the catch mechanism seems to be shot an i dont have a clue how to fix it
   
   Anyone got any ideas?
   
   new catch maybe? know the part number?

   dont mean to hijack the thread but my check strap clicks n grinds really loudly when my door opens any ideas??

   need to fit a nre check stap mate,not a hard job reli mitght be abit awquard if you havnt done one befor

   1st spray it with spray grease & see how it goes,don`t use wd40 it dries out after a while.

   i have ordered 2 of em thanks. are they hard to fit stevo67? guide anywhere? cant say i ever touched that area of a car before. its good to know im not the only one with problem saxo doors

    Wouldn`t say hard to fit just fiddly as there`s not much room to get your fingers in to undo the nuts.You have to take off the door card then slit a hole in the sound deadening to be able to access the nuts.
