   Hi all im looking for info on what colour to do my alloys refurbing them ok i have white saxo and need some idea what will look good colour wise on alloys to go with white saxo thanks

   They look better in gunmetal grey than any other colour I had some in black and they looked shite.

   im liking look them alloys in dark grey is there certain spray like heat spray or somethink so they dont peel or get wrecked quick lol?

    Just a decent amount of prep and a good primer. Then your chosen colour, Then a good clear coat over the top (stay away from halfords & hycoat paints there shite) use something like bodyline and U-pol. Any trade paint suppliers will help you out and will be loads cheaper than Halfords for better quality.

    nothing "special" just use correct stuff... i.e i used 2k primer, then base coat then 2k clear coat, these were do as a quick job within 2/3 hours as they were gold and i refused to go on track with gold wheel lol still look million times better then with rattle car!

    aw wicked thanks i went halfords other day and saw there spray so pricey tht place breather filter on ebay 5 pound halfords was like 15 to 20 pound was like (rip off) lol thanks for tips and ideas

    well halfords here must be more pricey guy said for like 9 pound a tin it was not really that good to spray alloys lol
