So I've got MOT due next month on my vts. I've got a cat to fit.
Do I need gaskets or anything or each end?
Cheers

I think I might leave it on for good tbh. I know of a couple of guys who have had on the spot emissions tests and got raped.
It's already blowing from the back of one of the gaskets anyway.

yeah mate just get a full set of gaskets should only cost about 8 quid for them all front to back. One less thing for it to fail on.

We'll see. I'm gonna fit it today.
Got a gasket for the front. New clamp for the back and some exhaust sealant for good measure.

I would fit gaskets if I were you
If it fails then you have to remove the CAT again to fit them anyway so for the sake of £8 you might as well

Apparently there is a gasket for the front and nothing for the rear. That's why I got the sealant.
