berlingo van problems (ecu)

   right i bought a berlingo van 1863 diesel on a x reg i have changed the gearbox and clutch since putting it back together it wont run properly and smokes like a train. the engine management light has come on so i changed the crank sensor just to make sure it wasnt that.. i am stuck as to what it could be eny help would be greatly appreceated thanks all..

   might be an injector gone mate, try a derv expert

   yeah bought with a compleatly knackerd box but it ran fine no smoke no fuck all now it barely ticks over and smokes like a rasta at a ganja party evrything is wired in right no plugs off anywhere havent crushed eny wires between the box and block i just cant work it out i have been wondering if maby the ecu has forgotten its map but i dont know how it could have done this from just disconecting the battery and chainging the box............ pugs an citroens im usually pretty good at but this has got me beat so eny one who can help me will be greatly appreaciated

   is it the old fashioned DW8 engine? would think so on an X plate.
