vts missfiring

   my vts keeps going through stages where its missfiring (goes lumpy to drive)
   its ok from one day, then it goes bad, then it goes ok again, i do no that one of the spark plug fittings been cross threaded so im taking a guess that this may be the problem.
   
   How do i go about fixing the thread for a new spark plug to fit in properly?
   
   any help would be appreciated

   If the thread has gone you need something called a helicoil fitted,you can buy the kit/tool needed or an engineering shop can do it for you.
