engine managment light

   been out for a drive in my car for the first time in about 2 weeks all was ok but seemed a little sluggish
   just come to put in the garage and the light has stayed on
   
   its a 2001vtr has bmc, 4-1 manifold with gmc sleeve, and full piper exhaust
   
   i noticed last time i could smell burning but not sure if it was my car as i was in traffic
   
   any help much apricated if not il get it put it on a machine

   Hhhhm. Mine went through a period of maybe just less than 2 weeks o fjust sitting in the garage and my management light came on. I left it for about a week, not wanting to jump the gun, and by which time it had gone off again.
   It's not come on since either.

   all is good now dont know what prob was turned car off at my mates for 2 mins started it and had gone off

   gremlins mate, sometimes mien can be a bit off after sitting for a while

   I Had The Same Problem With Mine, Its More Serious Than You Think. Yes It May Be Off Now, It May Be Off Next Week, But It Will Come Back On And Progresivley Over A Period Of Time It Will Come On More And More And More. It Will Then Start Missing Occasionaly Then More Often This Will Be Acompanied By The Smell Of Electrical Burning. Then If You Keep Going It Will Die. Then After An Hour Of It Sitting There It Will Have Cooled Off And Hey Presto It Works Fine Again; For Approx 50 Miles Or 35 Mins Until The Whole Senario Repeats Itself. I Then Sold It And Baught A Vts. I Shant Tell You My New Problems Its Enough To Make A Stone Cry
