was it noisey before it stopped working?

No not noisy just went heavy have been told to check the wires to the relay but need to borrow a meter first. A mate told me to check the relay with a 9v battery to see if it is working. Is there any other way to check wires oil flow ??

£130+ VAT is way too much, new ones go for £200ish, go to scrappy i got mine for £20, normally £40ish on here.

As said previous make sure the pumps gone beofre you buy another one, give it a tap with a hammer and see if it works.

are the heater fans and rear demister working mate?

Cheers guys rear demister fans etc. all working will give it a tap with a hammer once i get some time in daylight my shifts are driving me nuts just now no time to get a good look at the car. Will a pump from any saxo fit?? sorry about all this but cars are not my strong point. Not many saxo's like mine going about as it's a 2000 model and still standard be a shame to start messing with it now.
