steelies or old pug wheels

   hey, so at the moment my cars got these on, there wheels i was given off a 106 roland grandos.
   
   
   
   do you think that a set of white steelies with berlingo centre caps on will look better?? they would have to be painted by hand atm as i cant afford to have them sprayed, (and im rubbish at spraying myself)

   i'd keep the alloys and mayb repaint them white they kinda look like a smaller version of the old style rally wheels u found on cossie's n stuff

   only problem ive got is im broke for a few months, ive got both sets of wheels but could easily hand paint the steelies white to look tidy, but couldnt respray the alloys, theyre also pretty screwed in that theyre tarnished and flacking. not kerbed really but just nackered

   not sure brush painting is a good idea bud never really looks right a few tins of spray paint and laquear wouldnt cost you much at halfords

    The only steels that look good are rallye steels, C5's or sometimes banded steels. The rest IMO don't work, my old gold saxo had c5 steels on it and they looked awesome...
    
    Also don't paint them by hand! Either spray them or leave them well alone lol

    Think they both look terrible.. The lesser of two evils though would probaly be the alloys.

    ok so ive decided to leave it, ive got 1 payment left on my insurence so once thats been payed off im gonna buy a set of vtr wheels, have them powder coated white and then rap em in some sexy maxxis or other decent tyres

    sprayings not that hard!? a monkey can aim a spray can a press the top lol
    
    even if you get overspray/ the runs/ patches etc it would still look miles better than a brushed on paint lol
    
    id leave them both mate, they both look terrible i wouldnt waste the money

    106 Rallye Steels are very nice, you could try them.
