Low mounted seats

    Hey all

    As im quite tall, i struggle to get into my standard seats with a helmet on and would like more room to move around, i know you can get low subframes but would they work on the standard seats or am i going to have to go buckets too?

    106gti seats have a much lower sitting position than standards

    How much are leathers?

    How much are Buckets?

    If it because you cant get your helmet on then why not spend the money on a bucket instead. You can usually pick up a second hand Corbeau Evolution or Cobra Revoultion for £250 then £50 for sidemounts and rail to weld in or make a subframe. Can adjust the height and alot better for on track on leathers!

    If it sees the road more then it only takes 15mins to swap over to standard seats again.

    Just to clarify, do the seats have to be the leathers or are the fabric ones just as low?

    Buckets would probably be less than leathers

    Most buckets ive seen are around £150 each where im being offered a set of leathers for around £100
