   I'm thinking off buying my self a 106 GTI within the next few months,
   but i was wondering if a Saxo dashboard will fit in a 106.

   Yes they do when i had my 1.1 i bought white vtr clocks off some boy and he said he had them in his 106 gti

   Yes they are interchangeable between the 2 models,i`ve seen a pic somewhere.

   so if they fit direct onto the fitment points at each end and in the middle (whats good news)
   
   do he heater wires from the pug fit into a saxo main heater what will be fitted with the dashboard? or will it need a hole new connection?
   and also the dials are they a straight fitment or will they need new connectors?

    Saxo dash is nothing spesh but its alot better than a 106 dashboard

    imo the only dated part of the saxo dash is the heater control part, i prefer saxo dash's to modern pugs/cits

    Was thinking of a saxo dash but getting it all flocked like, only ideas atm you see,
    just been quoted £1250 on a GTI but them dash boards are rank,
    & i don't want another saxo as ive already had 2

    yea, ive had my saxo 2 and half yrs and i currently own another run around saxo, i must say a sundance gti is appealing to me lol but i dont think i can sell the s

    VTS is £300 a year more for me on insurance for some daft reason, and an S2 Rallye is £200 a month more, its stupid!
    
    might just get a Quicksilver at £75 a month & put a GTI engine inside it,
    the money i will save on insurance will pay for a hole new interior

    do you mean a vts is £300 more than a gti? if so, it because the vts is a higher insurance group than the gti

    and if i went all out mental in the head what i dont really want to do a Red top C20 LET Nova is £1650 a year

    iirc the redtop was a n/a 150bhp engine found in old astra's/caliba's etc
    
    and the LET engine is the newer 200+bhp turbo engine are found in the newer astra's/zafira's

    LET engine was out off the calibra turbo
    XE was out off the Astra GTE's

    Not right at this sec mate just running an Aprilia bike like,
    after a Pug GTI tho but after the perfect one as i will be turbo'ing it or camming it later on down the line so it has to be spot on.

    to the original question, they are a straight swap however you need the saxo heater bits from the saxo heater matrix

    I prefer 106 dashes tbh, they feel better built imo. Also don't get a corsa and novas are quite rare and expensive (also the dashes are awful in them so if you dont like a 106 dash you'd hate a nova dash) haha
