mine squeeks a little over speed bumps after going down 40, i just put it down to it being stiffer, dont actually no whats squeeking, but at the end of the day, its a saxo, they makes hundreds of different noises all the time. haha.

what brand springs did you use? are you on new or standard dampers?
are you sure its coming from the front?
  6. #6
im on spax springs and new KYB gas shocks all round, also rear beam was refurbed when i lowered it to match so i dont think its anything to do with springs/shocks. not on mine anyway.

spax are known to have 'spring chatter' its where the coils hit each other over bumps. i used to have 60mm spax springs and could kind of here this but it wasnt really a squeak it was quiet and didnt bother me

could be your wheel bearing tbf ? only a option

na my wheel bearing just got replaced, and i use 40 mm apex springs, and stock dampers... defiantly the front as it started to happen just before it got lowered

I have the same problem but just put it down to the fact i bought a cheap lowering kit

Probably the result of lower range springs, turn up your music and forget about it!

So its definitely a squeak opposed to a grinding? You sure its coming from the suspension opposed to an engine component?

Yeah I thought something could be up with the strut top bearing but after it got lowered the sort of springy sound changed to a squeak, it's bearable I just sound like a squeaky mouse when driving past hot females haha,

I was thinking it could go away as the springs settle.......

As stated before it could just be spring chatter, but that isn't so much of a squeak more of a ching noise. I'd recommend looking over all the rubbers at the front end check if they are in good condition and not dried out etc...and all the ball joints for splits.
