Cars only started doing this recently,it started as the very odd time it would drop he revs and cut out...and now a few days later every single time the revs are allowed to reach idle the car will cut out,there is no juddering as if its about to cut out it just stops immediately.
Thought it could have been the throttle body so took mine out and cleaned it up,still the same. So as i have another vts sitting there which was driving absolutely perfect a few days ago we tried changing the throttle body around,when we did this nothing changed,still cut out. It did manage to hold its revs once but it reved quite high and since then we cannot get it to start.
Put the old throttle body back onto the 2nd vts and it wont hold revs so obviously thats where the problem was with my vts,but now it seems to have blown whatever was wrong on the new throttle body
What could this be? Car runs alright when u keep the revs up although when i was in high revs in 3rd earlier it was going as if to cut out then it was going fine then dropping the revs again..say from 6k down to 5 and then picking up again.
Any ideas?Getting it plugged in today just trying to see if anyone would have an idea of what this could be before i do,thanks
