how do i get a supply to my cigar lighter socket in my 99 vtr?

    hi i bought a T reg saxo 1.6 vtr yesterday absolutly imaculate but the cigar lighter has no feed to it i was wondering if anyone could help me?

    Mate you need to find the fused live for the socket or make one then the earth you just earth to the chassis. Pretty easy BUT make sure its fused.

    so you say to run a new supply to it from fuse box? im a electrician as a occupation but never fiddled with auto electronics lmao

    would i not be able to take a supply from for example the radio connect a fuse carrier to it then to ciggy lighter?

    all this for a sat nav lmao

    Yes you could splice into the switched live feed of the radio(correct me if i`m wrong anybody)

    Unplug your radio switch the ignition on & use a screwdriver(1 with a light in)tester.
