saxo temperatures ???!!!!!

   i know this has been covered already but i cant find a thread with my exact problem.... only similar stuff which dont really help
   
   i have high running temps on my vtr when on motorway or in slow moving traffic... temp guage reads between mid and max..
   
   now heres the problem.....
   i have replaced radiator with nissens gti rad.... have strong coolant mix... have changed the thermostat... have new water pump... new head gasket...
   
   and still my temps run high......
   
   any ideas would be welcome

   You bleed the system properly? mine did the same, bled the whole system and is now perfect.

   mine did this, not good when you have to travel 120 mile to work
   found out it was my fan not kicking in at all (new relay)

   Could be a air lock.

   yea i had airlock on my vts after the plastic pipe that comes off water pump housing split , was running high temp and no hot air coming through fams , bled it properly and works a treat now

   The fan does kick in when it needs to.. I know this purely coz I've heard it a couple times... But will try the bleeding idea and see if it makes any difference

   It could also be a faulty temperature guage sensor(giving a false reading)mine did this but never overheated hot air through the blowers etc.So I changed the sensor now the needle sits just over 1/2 way up even when driving on the motorway.

   my mk1 did this cuz i had a leak in one of the pipes it was small ryt enough and also heavier spark leads sometimes does that
