decided tonight that i wanted to do my rocker cover as the car would be sat over night.
this would be the best time to do it, so i set about taking it off the car, but the top pipe would not budge for shit (i still have no idea how it comes off) and now i have snapped a pipe.

the car idles really low now and i can hear the snapped pipe sucking in lots of air

^^^ that is the pipe there that i am struggling with

bit off copper brake pipe should fit inside both parts then try and put a o ring on outerside and tighten up or a bit off insulation tape round it should get you out off trouble

if you havent got that look for a t piece conector and bloke the t part and fit in either end , this is a get you out off trouble fix as well

or also you can try and get a pipe that will fit over the snapped part and jubbly clip either end

thats just a breather....any pipe the right size will do.

    Just go to the scrappy

went to the scrappers today to get a pipe, came back with one i was sure would fit, and it didn't !!

just bodged my old one with some duck tape for now which seems to have done the trick.

i can also confirm that the yellow clip is indeed pushed in to release the pipe!! shame as i dont have time to do it now

lol simple push yellow clip as explained above....
