Important! : VTR losing power/juddering/misfire

   just come back from a long motorway journey and my cars started losing power at random moments and juddering allover the place which was pretty dangerous at motorway speeds so I slowed down in the slow lane most of the way back and just about managed to keep it going which was a nightmare in saturday traffic! anyway before it started doing this it was revving itself up before and now it doesnt seem to do that anymore so I'm wondering if they are related? also it seems like its alot worse when the cars hot.
   
   The cars is an 02 plate vtr on around 90k'ish now and its silver if that helps!(lol)

   Bit tricky with it being silver and all but sounds to me like the coilpack has given up as they are normally worse when warm

   coil pack is number 1 suspect followed by fuel filter

   cheers I was thinking it could be that just wasnt sure as it was kinda weird with it getting worse when hot but most my other sensors are pretty new anyway so I'll try that

   make sure you get the right one mate, if you take it out theres a part number on the back. they all look pretty much the same but are wired diffrently/fire in a different order etc. fitted one for my mate a while ago and got the wrong one first time round...

   cheers for all the help on this, just swapped my coil pack over for a new valeo one sorted it out car seems much better so far, never thought one thing could cause so many problems! now fallen in love with my car again haha
