Mk1 headlights

   Im thinking off taking the headlights apart and tinting the insides , anybody done this at all ?? Can the lenses come off easly

   Yeah its easy enough, basically the same as doing the mk2 headlights.
   
   Mine changed the look of my mk1, best thing I did

   I put them in at 120 degrees for 3 minutes, take them out and use a flathead screwdriver to get them apart...if its still really hard put them in for an extra minute and try again...
   
   Don't try the indicators i've heard they melt...lol

    yeah indicators melt right up, headlights smoked look the part, consider a metallic black, would look nuts

    They do, I found out the hard way
