Diagnostic code reader for 1999 saxo?

   Guys need a code reader and software for a 1999 SX petrol..for some reason I got it in my head that it may be dealer only diagnostic tool that will read and clear codes etc on a car this age?.
   
   Any advice please..?

   early Citroens need a 30 pin plug on the diagnostics cable, not sure what is available in the aftermarket area but you can buy copies of Lexia 3 includung the 30 pin and OBD2 cable cheap enough on ebay now
