So gunna get these alloys off my mate which aren't in great condition. I wanna spray over them (black) which is usually ok, aren't going to look amazing obviously but that's not what I'm looking for. Just looking for a quick simple solution to make them look ok. I've done before and it's fine. But if they're fitted to my car already (cba to take off and spray) could I spray over while they're fitted to the car if I'm careful ofc? Or would the paint start dribbling as such? Help, thanks

#2Ideally you take the wheels off, but if the car stayed stationary, you could do VERY light coats, but you need to do more then you would usually, same with laquering.

#3yer i would definatley take them off prep properly and fine coats little and often

#4And end up with paint on your brakes and struts...
Great idea. -
#6no having paint all over your disks and pads is fine mate, you crack on.1 user thanked this post:

#7For the amount of hassle it would be to mask up behind the wheels etc you might as well take them off and do it properly tbh.
