Important! : Engine management light

    Howdy all.... right a couple of months ago my engine management light came on but was running fine... so i took it to get hook up on a dignostic machine... it came back with one of the lambda sensors.... they didnt know which one.... so i left it till couple of weeks ago when my MOT was due and was thinking it may fail on emissions so better do it.....
    so changed both lambda sensors ( light stayed on) then put through MOT which it passed. Anyway couple of days ok i noticed that the light has finally gone out!!! YAY!!..... BUT! yesterday it came back on.... but is still running fine.....
    please any ideas??

    You need to clear the fault on the ecu,then the light will go out(by connecting up to a diagnostics machine)

    yer, probably over fueling maybe but the above is right rest it and see where you go from there. ecu work's on a cycle eg 100 miles or 3 days something like that thats why it comes back on, if you clear the fault and it happens again its not the lamda sensors.
