hi guys, i've got a 1998 1.6L saxo vtr 8v, and i want to improve it a bit.
now i have read threads on what to do but im not very good at decision making, so i need some help on it.
now i want to keep it as cheap as i can but i do want to notice a difference.
but i want to know what to do to improve its performance and still keep decent mpg.
also i want not just (induction kit) but what induction kit to get for example (bmc cda).
    thanks guys.

Apex are the popular choice for quality budget suspension.. I've not personally used.. I run the spax kit, which I hear is abit more crashy than the apex kit. Both similar priced kits.

    http://www.kamracing.co.uk/citroen/c...saxo-35mm.html

And BMC will be fine.. but they aren't cheap new.

    Cheaper option being ; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-SA...#ht_1035wt_881

And swap the filter for ; http://www.kamracing.co.uk/citroen/c...t-filters.html

When you get enough post's people sell them in the for sale section for £40-60.

    Then you'll want a 4-2-1 like this; http://www.kamracing.co.uk/citroen/c...n-saxo-8v.html

That's pretty much the basic breathing mod's.

Then add a gearbox with a lower FD (1.1/XSI/s1 rallye) And you'll defiantly notice a difference.

With these mod's I get 50 miles to 7.5 litres of fuel (£10) That's mainly using the car for B-road blasts.. I rarely drive economically, but when I do.. I get 60-70 miles.. but still foot down moment's. I should see how much i can get from £10's but I can't resist not listening to the music coming from the exhaust

Get more post's and find better 2nd hand deals of those item's i linked.
