Airbag light wont come on

   my mk2 saxo failed the nct (irish mot) because the airbag light doesnt display when the ignition is switched on. the light should come on and then go out after a few seconds to show the system is working.
   
   i've took out the dash and the LED has not been covered with tape or been tampered with. any ideas on why the light isnt working?

   probably because the bulb is dead or missing.

   could be an instrument cluster fault, led bulbs very rarely fail, has anyone gt a spare set of gauges with the airbag light working that you can plug in to see if the cluster is the issue

   is the airbag ecu still behind the centre console under the carpet?
