Nooby question (Rear light washer)

  1. #1
I'm in the middle of changing my rear lights on my car, managed to do one fine, now I'm stuck on the other, the butterfly washer is rounded of, as I've been trying to get it off its just made things worse, I can't get it off at all, I was going to pull the light but dont want to risk damaging any of the wires? is there anyway I can get it off? Thanks.

That may be the only option then push the light out from the inside. The new light will have the threaded part then just go to a scrappy & get a wing nut.
