-
#8Not trying to piss on your bonfire but be careful I bought a set like this a long time ago, only to find the white card too stick.Which makes the needles stick,my fuel guage needle jammed etc.
-
#9cheers stevo, i love your avatars man haha
-
#10not really i got a vtr set from scrappy £10 with less miles than mine got on lol
-
#11Same as any other MK2 Furio/VTR dials
-
#12i got a cheap white dial kit like that off ebay when i first had my car. what a waste of time that was. Made the needles stick, and made it impossible to read at night. I wouldnt waste your time tbh mate if theyre the same, stick to brands such as lockwood or plasma dials
-
#13okies cheers guys
-
#14vt set should fit straigh into urs any way
-
#18Looks like a good buy tbh u can get white vt clocks for about £10 saves you so much hassle etc..
-
#19white clocks as standard are only in mk2's so if you have a mk1 the plugs on the back are different so need wiring in etc.1 user thanked this post:

#20how does fitting new dials effect the mileage though??
-
#21theres confusion in this thread between changing the whole dial unit and just using white dial face covers as the original poster linked
if you replace the whole dial cluster for one from another, that mileage will be your new mileage -
#22dont like them i prefer the plasma dials
-
#23Yeah mate I was answering what I ended up doing after the card made the needles stick.Quote:theres confusion in this thread between changing the whole dial unit and just using white dial face covers as the original poster linked

#24i know exactly what you mean steve, just threw mine away lol
-
#25sorry dont mean to steal the thread but would it fail the mot if u changed the dials to one with a diffrenent millege
-
#27No it wouldn`t at least mine has never.I think the confusion sometimes stems from mk2 dials which are digital if you change the unit over then the old mileage & the new mileage are added together.Yes it can be corrected with software & a computer.Analogue dials i`m not going into changing the mileage on them on a public forum.Quote:sorry dont mean to steal the thread but would it fail the mot if u changed the dials to one with a diffrenent millege
