Important! : Quick problem that i need advice about !

    Sorry its not saxo related, but i do own one

    The misses has an 04 plate fiesta zetec and occasionally it comes up on the dash as EAC Fail and the car goes sluggish and wont pull away, or cuts out completely. 4 times in about 3 months "ish" now.

    The thing is; because its intermittent it prob wont show up on the diag will it ?

    She had a 3 month warranty when she bought it but its ran out now, however she took it to the sellers garage ( while it was in warranty ) there was some other dickhead on the counter and they couldnt find nothing, His response being "mine does that sometimes". The original seller was a very nice guy... However now its the same problem and out of warranty im gonna get them to check it again. Treating it like its still in warranty. Am i within my rights to say that ?

    when it did it did the management light come on if so then it should store the fault code and come up on a code reader.
    As for the warrenty worth a try just see if they have any customers in there and just kick up a fuss abit they will soon bend so other dont hear the fuss going on lol

    true say lol.... im not sure about the EM light. The misses said she was exiting and island and the car just cut out. Then 2 seconds later she had to turn it all back on and it was fine. Weird !
