  1. #1

    thanks

  2. #2
iirc thats the idle control valve, cant remember where the pipe goes tho
  3. #3
You sure mate? I thought the ICV was on the throttle body end?
  4. #4
yep, pretty sure it you remove that it will have a silver shaft and a black head, its on the throttle body on the vts, but its there on my old vtr.

i can go all the way to the garage in my superman trousers to take a pic of how mine was if you like, would prob show the pipe too lol
  6. #6
    If you like mate?
I've circled where I think this the pipe would run to. Green circle is the sensor in my first post, red circle is where I think its pipe goes?

  7. #7
well i been out and looked, but its all been taken apart as someone was gunna buy the head but the pipe is a wonky c shape, the other end is a bit bigger than the end that you have circled in green but has a solid plastic joiner fitted inside it.
  8. #8
    how long was the pipe?
  9. #9
    18inches/2ft
  10. #10
so its a breather then and fits to the throttle body? Does it have oily remnants inside?
  11. #11
mine did lol, but thats deffo the idle control valve above it
  12. #12
its the idle control valve, its either supposed to be plumbed back into the filter system as in the pic above

or just put a breather filter directly on to it if you have an aftermarket induction on

Nice one, I just happen to have a spare filter knocking about, I'll fit that before I get an oil catch tank next month
