Hey guys, I've done a search and not found any info, looked through all the premium guides and how to threads and even looked in the Haynes manual and still not found anything. The Haynes says 'At the time of writing no information was available on the electric power steering system', Great 
Anyway, my power steering only works intermittently. Feels fine once the car's moving but then I suppose it would, but when stopped and the steering system is under load it sometimes works, sometimes becomes a little bit heavy, but quite often seems to stop working completely. I've checked the fluid level which is fine with no air in it, and there's no fluid leaks anywhere and all the hoses are in good condition.
I've changed the relay for a brand new one I had already as a test and that makes no difference, so I guess what I'm asking is how to I go about testing the pump to make sure it's working? Not being able to find any info or even a wiring diagram I'm a bit stuck as to what to do next, and I don't want to just replace the pump to then find out it was a wiring fault or something.
Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks!
