Help: Rattle from engine

   Just wondering if anyone can help
   
   On my VTR when i go through the revs in any gear i get a rattling sound from somewhere on the engine every time i hit 3000rpm, this is going up and down the revs, sounds like a tin rattling, just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and knows where to start looking.

   exhaust heat shield vibrating or internals of the cat breaking up would be my guess

   as above will propbably be the heatshield on your manifold or the cat breaking up or the heatsheild on the cat if its under the car. start from there

   yer defo start with heat shield check if anything obvios is loose
