kent sports injection pt30

   hey guys, quick question - having done ALOAD of reading and searching ive finally managed to get my head around most stuff cam related ( cammed is where i want to be at). The guides really are the dogs danglies.
   
   Now, ive seen a vts for sale with kent pt30 roller type cams. On the kent website, in the catalogue they are down as 'sports injection'. Would these be roughly phase 1 2 3? Im hoping they are 2, 1 would see little gains and 3 would mean it would need a remap!
   
   Any ideas what phase they are? or what sports injection equates to?

   pt30 is a pretty mild cam.... any an all cams need a remap to get the potenital out of the cam
   
   but still can run most without a remap, even the ph3 unmapped wiil give more gains then a mapped 2 id have thought, unless going3 its really not worth the time or effort,

   ahh, so its a milder one then :-( was hoping it would be a 'phase 2' type. Yep, everyone advises a remap for decent gains. And from reading on this site, its not really worth remapping a 'phase 1 mild' cam. Rather go phase 2 or 3.
   
   Im assuming, it being a mild cam he wont have had or needed any head or spring work? See the guy is claiming allsorts. I think he figured i know very little about cams etc ( which is true) and hes just having me off.
   
   Ive read headwork only for phase 3 cam is required. Do you guys reckon he had headwork springs etc done now that i know its only a mild cam??

   pretty sure the pt30 is like a ph1 equivilent....dont qoute me on it as i really cant remember, although one of the most thrown about names, kent cams really arent very popular these days, back in the day they were the most used so are the most herd of..
   
   even a ph2 spec cam is still pretty mild, ph3's or dont bother, on the profile of pt30 im sure someone will either correct me or confirm what ive said... as said i really can remember...

   cheers mate.. gutted was hoping they were phase 3. He claims to have had head work done to cope with the cams!!
