Black on front alloys.

   Hey, I have a black residue on my front alloys, my car rattles, so I think I may have a dodgy exhaust and my mate says my exhausts blows.. Unsure how to tell if he is right, he also said it could be brake dust?? If he is right on the exhaust, could it be exhaust fumes? I think he's an idiot tbh, but if he's right I'll apologize lol

   Start the car put a rag over the tailpipe,then get someone to rev the car whilst you look underneath.Any blows should should show up(unless you manifold is blowing)

   also check your cv boot on the driveshaft isn't split or popped off as could be cv boot grease

   Ahh my drive shaft was split and fooked, spewed it out all over the underside of my car, failed my MOT due to that and ball joint. So that's all fixed now.
