Has any one seam welded their engine bay? If so did they find it benefitial?
I am considering doing this very seriously, so I would appreciate any feedback!
The reason I am asking is that over the past couple of days I have been preparing my bay for the engine and have noticed an inch long crack in the seam sealant where the tower meets the inner wing! I know its probably due to age etc. but the last thing I want is for the engine to tear the front of the car off!
