Been trying to figure out what this is for quite a while now, been to the garage yesterday for m-o-t and passed only thing wrong on that was sidelight bulbs had to be changed as they were the wrong colour apparently.
Anyway I asked them to have a look at the revs problem and they can't find anything wrong with it.. to be honest I think they just didnt wana do it so now its back to me trying to figure it out! its really annoying and starting to become undriveable to be honest.
Ive tried/changed:
map sensor
coil pack
coolant sensor
Icv
None of them have helped, I'm thinking maybe its some kind of inlet leak that opens up more when the cars hot or something but not sure.. any ideas? thanks
edit: probably worth mentioning that it has tried to cut out on a few occasions aswell totally randomly, don't know if this is linked?
