choice of gear boxes

    i got a 1.1 and got a funny feeling my gearbox wont last long , and was wondering will furio vtr/s boxes be a straight swap and what will be the pro/cons of if i fitted a gearbox off a bigger engine ?

    they will be higher geared ==so not a good idea as you don,t have the torque to pull the higher gearing--plenty of 1,1 in the scrap yard--even an ax g/box will do
