Cloth 106 gti seats

   Apart the obvious are there any differences between the cloth and leather 106 gti seats, i want a set but i also want them re-trimmed a different colour so don't really see the point in spending more money on leather ones if i don't need to, thanks in advance

   Bolster shape etc is exactly the same as the leathers, so they are just as comfortable and supportive. Personally I prefer them to leathers because they are warmer in the winter

   Thanks for that its exactly what i was after, i know what you mean about leather being cold but i do prefer the look over cloth

   I've actually been contemplating getting a set and then trying to re-trim them myself as my mum is planning on trying it for her mini

   I have a plan forming slowly (two tone to go with car plans we spoke about other day), and as they're generally a lot cheaper than leather ones it seems more practical to buy cloth in case i screw it all up.

   Yeah likewise, I'll give my mum a hand re-trimming hers and if all goes well I'll get some GTI seats and try it myself lol.
