How can i make my slide hammer fit the torsion bar?

The thread on my slide hammer is bigger than the torsion bars...anyone got any ingenious ideas on how I can get a bolt etc onto the end of the hammer that will fit the torsion bar thread?

in all seriousness just pay someone who knows what they are doing to do it, all the time and money u thrown at this to get tools and keep giving it a go surely someone on here is near u who can do it

maybe he wants to do it himself though? if you don't have a go then you will never know how to do stuff and be forever paying someone else to do jobs. and you can get adapters for the slide hammer, not sure what size you need but this is an example of what you need http://www.handsontools.com/OTC-2053...ad_p_8031.html
